I didn’t intend to write a series on how each and every one of our lives is beautiful, no matter the season.
But I am.
I’m enjoying the journey and seeing abiding in a whole new way. It use to be this abstract thing…how do you abide in Christ? How do you practically, in every moment, live in Him? What does that look like? Is it even possible?
I’ve thought on all these in the last weeks. And I’ve come to believe,
it is possible.
Why would Jesus command it, if it wasn’t a real possibility?
Oh, but there is a catch…living an abiding, joy-filled, beautiful life can not happen in your own strength. We cannot do it ourselves. We must be wholly dependent on Him who is the epitome of beauty, Jesus.

If you’re new to the Beautiful Life {series} or missed a post, here they are:
When You Can’t See the Beauty Within
The Beautiful Life Comes Full Circle
A Beautiful Life Doesn’t Mean an Easy Life

Great reminder. I was just talking to a young woman I disciple about abiding in Christ last night. I was telling her the key to living with the nature of Christ flowing out of us is submission.
