JessReflects & Stuff on Tumblr

Just a quick word to say that I’ve joined the Tumblr bandwagon. It’s a quick and easy way to bookmark good reads, pictures, songs, and other complete randomness that doesn’t quite fit into the scope of Reflections of a Princess.

I’m still trying to figure out how things work, but come on over and visit:

Things to Read, Things to Ponder

by Jessica on October 15, 2010

Because my brain feels slightly fried for no particular reason and formulating anything original just isn’t going to happen today (or tomorrow), I thought I’d share a few posts I’ve been reading, enjoying, and thinking about.

{Oh…the fried brain could have something to do, you know, preparing for this conference I’m going to next week! You know the one.}

Also, something my husband and I were talking about in the car today and I thought it’d be interesting to hear what you think…

Do you think the American view of biblical femininity is cross-cultural?

Meaning if a woman, say in sub-Saharan Africa, was immersed into the general view of American femininity would she feel feminine? Or is our definition of what it is to be a biblical, feminine woman to narrow?

(This topic could be a few blog posts in and of itself, but I’m interested in what your thoughts are.)

Something to think about.
